Stará želva pracuje na poště ve Woodland Valley. Jeremiáš je také jediným majitelem obchodu Woodland Valley General Store. Avuncular, ale trochu roztržitý, Jeremiáš vzpomíná na časy, kdy Medvěd navštěvoval střední školu. Želva se přátelí s Docem Hoggem a je pravnukem zakladatele Woodland Valley Hephaestus Tortoise. Jeremiáš je porotcem každoročního festivalu vyprávění příběhů ve Woodland Valley. Pokud jde o jeho věk, Jeremiáš zavtipkuje, že je dost starý na to, aby si nepamatoval, kolik mu je. V babiččiných 100. narozeninách Flutter uvádí, že mu je 112 let.
Loutka byla zrecyklována z Penelope Žlutonohé želvy a byla také použita jako jedno ze zvířat ve zverimexu v Kermitových Bažinných letech, bez chlupů a bradky. Následně byla použita v představeních Puppet Up!.
